— About this trip
Riviera
Grand Tour
For groups with only one day on the Riviera, or those who want a single comprehensive experience, the Grand Tour covers both sides of the coast in a long, relaxed day. It combines the highlights of the eastern route – Èze, Monaco, Monte Carlo – with the western stops of Antibes and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, making a full loop from Nice.
This is a substantial day. With five destinations and approximately 130 kilometres of driving, it works best with an early start and a clear idea of which stops matter most to your group. Your driver knows the roads, the parking, and the timing well enough to adjust on the day if you want to linger somewhere longer or move on more quickly.
A lunch stop is natural around the midpoint – Monaco and Antibes both have excellent options at every price point. The driver can suggest specific spots or simply park while your group explores independently.
Hotel Pickup
Your driver meets you in the lobby at the agreed time.
An early departure is recommended – 8:00 AM – to make the most of the day and reach Èze before the midday heat and crowds.
Èze Village
A medieval village perched 429 metres above the sea. To enter it, expect a steep incline walk. At the very top, the Jardin Exotique offers panoramic views and costs – tickets can be purchased online in advance. The Fragonard perfumery offers a free factory tour with no booking required.
Monaco – The Rock & Cathedral
The ancient fortified headland where Monaco's old town sits. Visit the Cathedral of Our Lady Immaculate – where Grace Kelly is buried. The changing of the guard at the Palace takes place daily at 11:55 AM from the square. The Palace interior is open from April to mid-October and can be booked online in advance.
Monte Carlo
Visit the Casino Square, the Hôtel de Paris, and the sculpted gardens. Walk around the luxury stores or have a coffee in one of the outdoor cafes. After Monte Carlo, the driver takes you through the Formula 1 circuit streets – the Hairpin, the tunnel, the chicane.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence
Walk the main lane from the entrance gate to the ramparts, browse the art galleries and studios along the way, and stop at the Grande Fontaine square.
Antibes Old Town
Walk the rampart walls around old town, explore narrow pedestrian streets, browse art galleries and cafés. The Provençal market at Cours Masséna runs from Tuesday to Sunday mornings, opening also on Mondays during the high summer season.
Cannes
Walk on the La Croisette promenade, with views of the old port and Palais des Festivals. Explore the narrow medieval cobblestone streets of Le Suquet hilltop neighborhood;
Hotel Drop-off
Your driver returns you to your hotel to complete the day.
