Bern is the capital of Switzerland, yet somehow it has managed to preserve the look and feel of a town. One of the most iconic features of Bern is its fountains, and that is why it is also called the City of the Fountains. Some are quite attractive, while some are outright bizarre (there is a child-eating ogre fountain). Some of these fountains date back 500 years or more. The city also hosts one of the most amazing rose gardens where you can admire at least 200 different types of roses. Saint Vincent's Gothic Tower is another popular attraction site, along with many others. It is a 1 hour 42 minutes drive from Geneva Airport (GVA).
